The most striking and fashionable style in the interior is the patchwork style. This style came to us from America. Translated from English means "made of rags."

Previously, there was no necessary amount of fabric to sew a bedspread, a rug on the floor, or pillowcases on pillows. Therefore, they took old unnecessary things, cut them into even rectangles or squares and sewed them together, thus obtaining a large motley canvas. Such accessories could be found in rural houses. Now this direction is being implemented everywhere. Moreover, such bright accents very organically fit not only into the design with oriental notes, but also dilute the classics.

Designers suggest using not only multi-colored blankets or pillows, but also tiles, wallpapers, and even letting a fresh stream in old furniture.

Textile

To practice a little and understand whether this design is suitable, you can sew fabric parts yourself the interior, for example, small decorative pillows on the sofa, and on the floor you can put a rug made on that same technique. The kitchen also has a place to take a walk: a tablecloth, potholders, an apron, napkins and towels, all this will look very bright and stylish.

Furniture

Old furniture will become unusual and festive if you replace the old upholstery with patchwork style upholstery. There are many options: you can sew covers, a cover, which then cover the sofa or sew a large canvas in the right technique, and then cut out the details of the required size. Such furniture will fit perfectly into the interior of the bedroom, nursery or kitchen.

Floor

Here you need to use coarse fabrics, such as drape, denim, wool. You can sew pieces together or sew on a dense base. Shreds sewn with a thick thread, which is used in footwear, look very impressive, especially when the thread is contrastingly different from the fabric. You can also lay tiles on the floor from different pieces. You don’t even have to think about creating a drawing and tightness. The more incomprehensible and unusual the tiles are laid, the more interesting it looks. If you cover the entire floor in this way, you can select in the middle of the room a separate area in the shape of a rectangle and glue only it. This will create the impression of a rug on the floor.

Walls

Here you can take a walk: wallpapers, tiles, fabrics - all this is great for creating walls in the style of patchwork. Pastel colors look especially beautiful, for example, wallpaper from pieces of soft pink, turquoise and light lilac in the nursery for the girl, or pale yellow, salad and beige for a boy. It is enough to purchase wallpapers of different colors and cut them into even squares or rectangles.

In the bathroom, the covered part of the wall next to the bathroom itself with tiled tiles with different patterns or in different colors will look very impressive.

In the kitchen, in addition to pieces of wallpaper on the walls, you can decorate the apron with different tiles. Just as with wallpaper, you can do with fabrics.
