Compression of the insulation or the gaps between it

The laying of insulation material must be carried out very clearly. If the mineral wool is in a compressed state, then it will lose some of the insulating properties. And in the case of the formation of gaps between the plates of polystyrene foam or other material, they will become conductors of the cold. Such a defect is blown by the foam.

For this reason, the lower protection must have diffusion properties. In this case, moisture will not accumulate in the insulation, freely leaving the steam outside.
