In addition, water, most likely, will not occupy the entire volume of the corrugation, and therefore, there will still be a place for the penetration of odor. The solution is simple - fasten the siphon with a clamp so that a water lock appears, and water would stand in the way of the smell.

Secondly, it is important to ensure the tightness of the area where the pipe or corrugation of the siphon goes into the sewer. If this area is sealed, then the smell is likely to disappear.

It is important to carefully approach the installation of a sink, faucet and siphon, because plumbing only seems to be so durable, no matter how high-quality it is. If you install carelessly, you may encounter such problems:

• damage to the flask or pipe;
• and even chips on the sewer pipe.
