• using the fasteners included in the standard delivery;
• fixing to the adhesive;
• using cement mortar.

The standard delivery with the toilet comes with fasteners in the form of dowel screws. Installation in this way is recommended only on a flat surface.

This technique is quite acceptable in terms of its reliability and stability. True, it is not always applicable. Such a mount is most often chosen for small devices with low weight.

Another installation option is glue fixing. This method gives good strength. But if you need to carry out urgent dismantling - quickly and with minimal costs, it will not work. This mounting option is used if the structure is not planned to be replaced in the near future.

Features of installing a toilet bowl on a warm floor

Usually, experts recommend installing the toilet with bolts. This is quite logical, because in the presence of a small area of ​​the pedestal, the task simply leaves no other option. But sometimes it is not only possible to do without bolts, but also necessary.

It is necessary to use the installation option without bolts if an underfloor heating is installed in the bathroom. Without knowing exactly how the heating elements are located, having drilled a hole for the bolts, you can "run into" a very expensive repair.

The use of glue for fixing in this case will not harm the heating system.

Before you start fixing the toilet without using bolts, you need to thoroughly clean the bottom plane of the pedestal, as well as the floor. Dust and dirt must be removed from surfaces, as well as degreased. The adhesive solution adheres better to the degreased surface, and the fixation becomes more durable.

The adhesive should only be applied around the perimeter of the bottom of the toilet bowl base. The area of ​​the floor, which will be hidden by the plumbing fixture, is completely covered with glue.

To avoid wasting the glue solution, draw the boundaries of the toilet bowl on the floor before applying it. 3. After surface preparation, dust must be removed and degreased. For this, it is better to use a special compound for plastic and ceramics. It can be purchased at almost any hardware store. These degreasers come in various sizes and packaging, but are best purchased as a spray. They are convenient to use, and the speed of their weathering is much higher.
4. After that, you need to process the underside of the toilet. Usually there is no enamel coating on it, but if a diligent manufacturer is caught and applied it, then you should get rid of it.
5. When the degreaser wears off, apply liquid nails to the floor and underside of the toilet. Then the toilet is put in place and pressed down.
6. Any excess glue that comes out should be removed with a rubber spatula.

This completes the work. It remains to wait a while until the glue hardens. As a rule, complete drying occurs within a day. But this time depends on how thick the layer is. And since the thickness of the adhesive layer is quite large, it is better not to use the device for about a week so that the fixation becomes strong.
