Dust and water droplets are not visible on light-colored surfaces (furniture and countertops). We had a choice between gloss and matte finishes. They leaned towards gloss for two reasons - it is more beautiful. In addition, our small kitchenette after the transformation began to seem larger and wider. The kitchen is nothing like a sterile operating room. It was the white gloss that prevails in the kitchen (apron, furniture cabinets) that added light and space to it. We have shaded MDF film facades with warm wood (Bardolino Oak). Simple color harmonizes with natural materials in the best way. And even on the most cloudy day, the room is light and cozy.

The apron for protecting the walls is made "like a brick". These are solid wall panels, inexpensive and convenient in that the gaps between them are minimal. This means that the wall is very easy to care for.

The gas stove matches the color of the range hood and oven. The metal surfaces are from the previous owners. The cooker hood adheres closely to the cabinets, leaving no gap. Therefore, very little dirt and dust is collected. But again, this could not be achieved without custom-designed cabinets.

The worktop is made of HPL plastic, the so-called high pressure laminate. It can withstand high temperatures, moisture resistant and will not wear off. And all these advantages at a very reasonable price. Color - Canadian oak. The table top came out not wide, so we used roof rails to make the 60 cm surface as free as possible.

We moved the sink a little to a corner purely for practical reasons - ergonomics of the work surface (the corner is involved) and convenience (the sink is almost in the center of the kitchen). And the lighting under the cupboards not only optimized the dishwashing process, but also made the kitchen very cozy.
