We waited for the apartment for a long time, since the developer was constantly postponing the delivery date of the building. This made it possible to decide on the design of the kitchen in the new apartment. The main task that we pursued was to make the premises as comfortable and unusual in style as possible, so we immediately abandoned the generally accepted solutions. At the same time, the kitchen had to be not just different, but individual!

The renovation budget was limited, but we still abandoned the classic light-colored headsets, heavy wall cabinets, tall pencil cases and flashy colors right away. We did not consider combining with the living room, since no hood can completely remove odors. As a result, we settled on a modest minimalist design project.

My mother and I independently arranged the premises, chose materials, compared various options, received permission to move the entrance to the kitchen from the hall, which made it possible to make a full dressing room. The changes can be seen on the plan diagram.

The repair work was carried out by a professional team of builders. I want to share what materials I chose for the design of the kitchen. An excellent option - self-healing plastic for the facade has one advantageous advantage - it does not leave fingerprints on it! The pleasant matte surface looks very beneficial.

They decided not to save on technology, an automatic hob with an oven, a modern stylish refrigerator were purchased in Minsk. A coffee maker was installed on a pull-out shelf, and a microwave oven was hidden in the closet next to it.

The lighting of the working area was made separate on the soaring line of the stretch ceiling, three lamps were installed directly above the table, it is very convenient. The view from the 19th floor window is beautiful, the cropped curtains do not interfere with enjoying this picture, and do not interfere with the exit to the loggia. The design of the curtains is in tune with the decor on the chair covers.

The total cost of repairs was approximately 456 thousand rubles, most of the funds were spent on the purchase of furniture and equipment. Minimalism in the kitchen is an excellent choice for owners of the same small space as ours. This choice allows you to create a practical, comfortable and functional space.

Do not be afraid to experiment and cross some boundaries, refusal of the rules does not always lead to failure, sometimes this step allows you to step further and show your individuality.

Even if our kitchen has turned out to be somewhat strict, even ascetic, you can always add a little light, plants, accessories, which will refresh and revive the interior. In the meantime, we are infinitely happy with the result!
