Coat is considered one of the most popular items of outerwear. Woolen, leather, suede or a coat of drape or any thick fabric is worn by men and women, and even for children there will be a variant. However, to care for the coat is very difficult, because for most products full washing is prohibited. Today we will find out how to clean the collar.
How to keep a neat appearance of the product
Since during the season, coats are worn almost every day, and in spring and autumn there is often slush and bad weather outside, pollution is inevitable. Another collar on the coat is often stained with traces of cosmetics: foundation, lipstick.
Most contaminated sites:
- cuffs of sleeves;
- sleeves on the inside along the seam line;
- fold collar;

The best option to remove unwanted spots and greasy shiny areas is dry cleaning of the coat. But alas, this procedure is not cheap, and is there any point in carrying dry cleaning for one spot?
If the pollution is rare and did not have time to enter into the fabric, then you can clean your favorite thing at home with your own hands, armed with tips from the list below.

For example, a light wool coat can be washed on the appropriate mode without intensive pressing, then all stains and greasy areas will disappear after the first wash, and the thing will not deteriorate or deform.
But even if a delicate wash is unacceptable, then you can use the tools that are in almost every home:
- hydrogen peroxide;
- household or baby soap;
- coarsely ground salt;
