As a result, the gum loses its elasticity, the tightness of the structure is broken, so the bucket is leaking. At the first detection of such a defect, repairs should be started immediately. To do this, stock up on such materials and tools:
- new oil seal;
- fixing ring;
- heat-resistant lubricant (can be graphite);
- clean bandage;
- chisel;
- screwdrivers for disassembling the bucket.
At the preparatory stage, you need to unscrew the fastening of the base of the bowl. To do this, remove the retaining ring and then carefully knock out the shaft along with the oil seal, bearing. Then proceed as described in the instructions below.

In order for the replacement of the bread machine seal to be successful, you need to proceed as follows:
- Buy a new bearing - it is very cheap and available in almost any store.
- Using a chisel, you need to disassemble the old bearing. It is worth acting carefully, because you can break not only the bucket, but also damage the chisel itself.
- Insert the valve seal into the cage.
- The space between the bearing race and the stuffing box itself is sometimes sealed with cold welding. But it is better to wrap it with gauze so that inedible components do not get into the food.
- As a result, the workpiece will look like this.
- Heat-resistant grease is stuffed inside the stuffing box. Gauze is also smeared with the composition.
- Then you can put the part in place and make the first baking. After that, the new element hardens well. At the same time, the lubricant practically does not leave traces, since the composition is heat-resistant.
