How to replace the bearing: preparation

Replacing the bearing in a washing machine Samsung is the only correct solution for a breakdown, as repair of this component is often impossible.

Start preparation for work is worth looking for suitable parts. Now the market (like shops, service centers, and on the Internet) offers a huge selection of bearings for any models of Samsung washers. In the kit you will receive:

  • bearings themselves;
  • oil seals;
  • grease.

To avoid confusion and not to buy the wrong kit, tell the seller the exact model and year of release of your washing machine. To make it easier to navigate, see the table of spare parts for Samsung machines:

In addition to the details, you need to prepare a small set of tools. To dismantle the fasteners, unscrew the tank in 2 parts, knock out the bearings, arm yourself:

  • with a small copper hammer;
  • grease or WD-40;
  • the bent hexagon key;
  • a marker;
  • a hairpin made of metal;
  • pliers;
  • adjustable wrench;
  • keys of various modifications;
  • indicator, minus and positive screwdrivers;
  • sealant.

All this will help you to replace the bearing with your own hands by all the rules.

Removing the tank from the Samsung car

Having collected all the necessary tools, you can begin to understand how to replace the bearing in a washing machine Samsung.

Prepare a convenient place in which you will disassemble the machine - in the bathroom it may not be enough, so if possible, transfer the equipment to a workshop or garage.

Next, you need to remove the "extra" parts that interfere with dismantling the tank. You need to disassemble in order not to lose parts and fastenings, so carefully sort and lay out everything that you remove from the machine.

Disassemble the body of CM according to the following scheme:

  1. Remove the top panel. To do this, unscrew the two fasteners located at the corners on the back wall. Then, with both hands, take the lid and pull to yourself, and then up. After removing the panel, leave it, so as not to interfere.
  2. Remove the receiver of washing means. This is easy:
  • Pull out the tray to the maximum;
  • press the valve located in the middle;
  • with the second hand, slightly lift the tray and pull it toward you;
  • if you did everything correctly, the receiver will jump off.

  1. After removing the powder receiver, unscrew the hoses that supply water to it, as well as the branch pipe, through which the dissolved powder is poured into the tank. Unclip the clamps using pliers.
  2. At the top of the stylalka you will see a counterweight. It looks like a big brick or stone. Choose the right head to unscrew the fasteners.

Carefully! Counterweight is heavy, do not drop it on yourself or on the machine.

  1. Next, you need to dismantle the seal rubber.

Remove the rubber cuff on the washing machine Samsung is easy:

  • Unscrew the two bolts that hold the hatch lock.
  • Remove the sensor - this is necessary in order not to tear the wiring while removing the cuff.
  • Use a thin screwdriver to pry the wire clamp.
  • Drive the screwdriver under the yoke until you come across the fasteners. Your task is to weaken it.
  • Loosen the bolt and remove the clamp.
  • Put your fingers under the cuff, pull it to yourself.

You can not get the seal completely. The point is that it does not prevent the front panel from being removed.

Next, put the machine on its side to access the bottom of the AGR. Remove the bottom by unscrewing the 4 bolts holding the cover. Set it aside.

Proceed to the electronics:

  • Find the engine and drain pump. Remove all wiring connected to these parts. If there is such an opportunity, write down the process of disassembly on a video so that you do not confuse all the wires. If this is inconvenient, then mark everything using the marker.

Important! The contacts that connect the wire to the sensors are very weak, so try not to damage them. If you find burnt out contacts or wires, replace them immediately.

Now you need to remove the racks - replacement of the Samsung washing machine bearing with them is impossible. The ends of the posts are attached to the tank with four bolts, on the other side of the column are screwed to the body of the machine.

Below anything, except the motor, do not remove any more. The pump will not hurt you either - just enough to remove the branch pipes going to it.

Leave the stylalk in a horizontal position - so it will be more convenient for you to remove the water fill valve together with the tubes and sensors going to it.

Remove the wire connected to the valve sensor, then unscrew the fasteners that hold it. Remove the valve, set it aside. At the end, remove the 4 springs on which the tank hangs.

Removing the covers

Now there is nothing left to get to the tank, you just need to remove only the wall and the front cover. The control panel is held on 5 bolts. Having unscrewed them, you easily remove it.

The main thing is do not damage the wiring of the control panel!

The front wall holds about a dozen fasteners. Find them all and unscrew them. Remove the lid and set it aside. By the way, under the front cover there is another counterweight of a smaller size than the main one. Take the socket wrench and unscrew it.

Now everything that previously prevented you from getting the tank was eliminated. You can get the engine and the tank. It is important not to damage the wiring and other vulnerable components so that you do not add work to yourself.

  1. Turn the tank over.
  2. Remove the belt from the pulley.
  3. Loosen the pulley with the hexahedron. If the pulley attachment is tight, drip a bit of the WD-40 to prevent the bolt from tearing.

You coped with the routine work and disassembled almost the entire machine. Now, you can disassemble the tank to see the bearings live in your Samsung washing machine and see if they need to be changed.

Disassembling the tank

Since the racks have already been unscrewed earlier, it remains only to remove clamps and staples. Tools will help you with this. Special subtleties and difficulties with this work usually do not arise.

Remove the upper part of the tank body so that the drum can be seen. Then remove the lower part. As a result, you should have:

  1. The upper half of the tank with a hole in the hatch in the center.
  2. The bottom half of the tank with the heater.
  3. Drum and axle.

Since you've done this kind of work, do not focus only on bearings - at the same time, check everything you have access to.

For example, you can check the interior of the tank for damage or check the heater for dirt and scale, a short circuit and a breakdown to the housing (the last two checks are done by the tester). If you find problems with the heater, you can clean it of lime scale or completely replace it with a similar one.

Dismantling and mounting of bearings in a Samsung machine

Before replacing the bearing on the washing machine, you need to get it. Proceed according to the following scheme:

  • In the sleeve of the tank you will find 2 bearings of different sizes.
  • To get a big one, it must be knocked out to the side of the tank using a hairpin.
  • The smaller one is knocked out from inside the tank.
  • Take the pin, put it to the edge of the bearing and gently tap the hammer. Lean the stud to the second edge and again lightly tap - so go around the circumference of the bearing until it jumps out.

Attention! When knocking out the parts, never strike in the same place. Beating points should be a minimum of 3 pieces. Otherwise, the bearing will come out crooked or may become stuck in the bushing, and you will have unnecessary problems.

By the way, you can remove the bearings in any body shop - locksmiths have special pullers. Therefore, if there is such an opportunity, you can contact the specialists. Usually they do this kind of work for a nominal fee.

Do not forget about the stuffing box:

  • remove the used parts;
  • take a clean cloth and wipe the bushing inside;
  • grease new oil seals with grease, which comes complete with bearings;
  • Install the oil seals.

After that, you can plant the bearings. Do it this way:

  • place the part in the sleeve and put it there with your fingers;
  • on the second bearing put a wooden bar;
  • hit the parts several times until it sits.

.
