To wash leather pants without unpleasant consequences, you need to carefully prepare the product.

In no case can you wash several leather items at the same time!

  • All buttons, rhinestones, sequins, appliques and other accessories on the pants must be protected so that they do not fly off.
  • Before washing, wash your pants for 30 minutes without powder. If you have a special product for washing leather and fur, then add it.
  • If the pants are multi-colored or have fabric elements on them, then a color fixer should be used before washing. Otherwise the colors may fade.

After the preparation stage, the washing process itself begins.

If you need to wash your pants completely

Take a bath of warm water and soak the pants, they should be soaked. Long pants can not be kept, because the material may be damaged. Wash the product carefully. After that, put them in a dryer at a sufficiently high temperature. If you do not have a dryer, then simply hang the pants on a hanger in a vertical position and dry at room temperature in a room with a battery or heater, but in no case above the appliance itself. Also, leather products can not be dried in direct sunlight.

It must be remembered that after washing all the scratches and imperfections on the skin will be much more noticeable than before. After the product is completely dry, it is necessary to cover it with skin cream in order to retain moisture and shine.

If you do not have the opportunity to wash your leather pants by hand, then try to do it in a washing machine in a delicate mode with a temperature of no more than 30 degrees. Also suitable mode "wool" with a spin of 300 rpm.

If the pants are just dusty and not very dirty, you can not wash them entirely. Take a clean, damp sponge and wipe the product, let it dry, then apply the cream. This can also be done with a regular wet wipe or a special spray. Pay attention to the tag on the pants. If you buy products for the skin, be sure to follow the instructions.

Then add a couple of drops of ammonia, moisten a sponge in this water and wipe the problem area. Clean the remaining soap from the pants and dry in a well-ventilated area.

Ink Stains can be removed with Scotch tape. Stick it on the contaminated area, press down and slowly pull it away. If the stain is not removed completely, scrape the remnants of the stationery eraser. In case of persistent stains, special foaming agents can be used.

If you could not successfully cope with stains, it is better to take your pants to dry cleaning where they will do it without damage to your skin.
