How to find a breakdown in F05 error and what to do with it
To check the drain, find the small hatch at the bottom of the machine, open it - you will see the filter cover. Remove it by slightly pulling it towards you.
Important! Before removing the filter, lay a rag on the floor near the typewriter, because water will flow out of the tank if the hole is not completely blocked.
Examine the filter, rinse it under the faucet. If the filter is almost clean, there are no blockages in it, then the next step is to clean the pipe that connects the machine with a hole in the sewer and drains the waste water into it.
How to clear a clogged hose:
- Prepare a bucket( you can lower the nozzle into the sink or toilet).
- Loosen the clip holding the socket on the sewer line.
- Drain the remaining water.
- Remove the filter.
- Remove the bolt securing the pump.
- Turn the machine on its side.
- At the bottom of the machine, locate the pump and remove it.
- Loosen the hose clamp at the hose inlet into the machine body.
- Remove the hose.
- Rinse under tap.
Next, perform all the steps in the reverse order, gathering all the parts in place, tightly tightening the clamps.
If there was no blockage in the nozzle and the code F5 in the Indesit machine did not appear again, do not collect everything back - check also the pump. Disassembling and cleaning the pump can be a solution, but the possibility of replacing the pump is not excluded.
After checking the drain and the pump, putting everything in place, start the machine in test mode - without laundry and detergents.
Testing the sensor
If F 05 in AGR Indesit caught fire again, then you should look for a hitch in the pressostat. This sensor is located under the upper housing cover - it will not be difficult to remove it by unscrewing the fixing bolts.
On the side there is a detail of a round shape, from which wires and a small hose extend.
If you do not know what to do, then do not rush to replace parts with new ones - first check the sensor to see if it is broken. The contacts could fail, as well as the hose through which pressure from the tank goes to the sensor.
If everything is in order, collect the machine and idle turn on the wash. If the parts need to be replaced, we change the parts( ourselves or with the master).
