  • The first cultivated varieties of patissons had white skin color and the correct shape of the fruit with a slightly wavy edge. Today, gardeners can choose from dozens of varieties of different ripening terms, shapes and colors. Young fruits with thin skin that has not had time to be coarse are used in cooking and canning, and ripe scallops are stored no worse than pumpkins and can be used in winter.

    Modern varieties of squash are divided into: early

    • , allowing to receive the first crop in 40-50 days from the moment of the first shoots above the ground;
    • mid-season, giving fruit after 50-60 days;
    • late, forming the ovary in 60–70 days.

    Besides the fact that the squash bush can produce useful and tasty pumpkin, individual varieties with an unusual “horned” fruit shape and variegated color are a great decoration for the site. And among vegetable varieties there are not only white-fruited varieties of squash. Fruits with yellow, orange and green color of the skin and pulp are not uncommon.

The hybrid is resistant to downy mildew and shows stable, high yields.

    The variety is distinguished by an average ripening period of 55–65 days. Fruits resembling bells with a rounded-toothed edge are formed on branching bushes. The mass of mature squash is 0.4–0.5 kg. The ovaries of this variety of patissons have a light green color; during the phase of biological maturity, the color changes to white, and the skin hardens. Squids with a diameter of up to 8 cm have soft, tasty flesh, the seeds are almost not felt. The purpose of the variety is universal.

    One of the peculiarities of this type of squash is a very early ripening period, not exceeding 40–45 days. On a bush plant for a season it can ripen from 20 to 30 fruits weighing 400–500 grams. The discoid fruit with a slightly toothed edge has a smooth, yellow-orange peel and dense white pulp of excellent taste. The most valuable variety for culinary use and for canning.

    Patisson Sunny Bunny F1

    You can harvest fruit from the powerful bushes of this hybrid in 42 - 45 days after seed germination. Plants differ in mass and very mass fruiting. At the same time on the bush can be up to 20 young squash of this variety, as in the photo with a beautiful disk-like shape, ribbed edges and bright, rich yellow color. The average weight of the squash, ready to collect, is 150–250 grams. The flesh is creamy or light orange, excellent taste and dense texture. Shrubs are resistant to powdery mildew infection.
