Now you need to loosen and level the soil, although under cover some of the work for you has already been done by worms and other soil inhabitants. Before laying a carpet of sod, you need to prepare the base. Unlike a lawn, lawn roll requires a drainage device. To do this, the soil is removed to the desired depth, and the prepared trench is laid in layers of crushed stone and sand. Layers of pillows should be 10 centimeters thick and carefully tamped.
