Simple inverter without transistors

To create a simple inverter without using transistors, you only need a couple of parts. It will convert DC 12V to AC 220V. And most importantly, all components can be easily found and installation will take a minimum of time.

Necessary materials:

• Ordinary transformer from a tape recorder or receiver (there should be a winding of two types - a simple 12V and a network 220V);
• 12V relay (very common, easy to find in an electronics store);
• A piece of wire (required for connection);
• LED bulb (you can use any other).

Construction assembly process

The whole process will be built on the installation of a transformer and relay. To begin with, we take the transformer and fasten the load wire to its network winding. A light will be attached to it and all this is called the inverter output. The next step will be the parallel connection of the low voltage wiring to the relay.

Now we proceed to the procedure for connecting to the power battery (battery). We attach one wire coming from the transformer to any of the battery marks, the second wire going through the relay is also attached to the battery. In this case, it does not matter to which contact (positive and negative) the wires are attached.

Installation of our ordinary inverter without transistors is ready. When connected to the battery, the light starts to glow. In this case, you will hear a characteristic squeak of the relay.

This invention is certainly not durable, sooner or later, the relay will fail. But this is not scary, you can replace the part with a new one, and the whole structure will function again. But to solve other urgent tasks, it can become an indispensable attribute. Most importantly, be sure to follow safety precautions. Wrap all exposed areas of wires with insulating materials.
