There is an ironing board in any apartment; a modern hostess simply cannot do without it. However, given the fact that this item is quite large, sometimes it spoils the interior. In a hanging cabinet

Having made a special hinged cabinet of the required height, you can hide the board in it, as a result you will get a functional, attractive and harmonious interior. You can make a cabinet either on your own, it’s not at all difficult, and order it at a specialized company or from the masters.

The cabinet can be single or supplemented with shelves where you can store iron, moisturizers and other things. When choosing a facade for such furniture, be sure to consider the surrounding interior.

The place for the ironing machine should ideally be near the outlet, but if there are children in the house, then the outlet should be closed with special plugs.

The most popular are ironing boards, built-in wardrobes. It is best to make such cabinets to order, but at the same time first provide a place for a board in it. Such a cabinet can also be placed on the balcony, but if you iron on it in the cold season, it is imperative to provide for the insulation of the balcony and its glazing.

Built in mirror

Many manufacturers offer mirrors in which ironing boards can be integrated. In fact, this is a shallow cabinet, on top of which a mirror is installed on the facade, there will be an ironer in the cabinet itself. When the mirror is pushed back, you can use the ironing board, and when the work is finished, the mirror slides into place and again a beautiful and neat interior is obtained. Sometimes such niches are equipped with a small nightstand in which you can store items and accessories necessary for ironing.

Retractable

Drawers are placed in drawers of chests of drawers and cabinets. The only drawback of such storage is the restriction on the size of the board by the box in which it is hidden. In such cases, boards that can be folded in half will be required, but such a mechanism is susceptible to breakage.

Retractable models can also be in the kitchen, for example, in the space between drawers or cabinets and countertops. But in this case, be sure to take into account the size of the kitchen, with its very modest dimensions, ironing clothes will be uncomfortable.
