Clean the input filter

Perhaps for some it will be a discovery that the filter can be not only near the pump, but also on the water supply. Cleaning it is necessary when the water is dialed very slowly, even with a normal head in the aqueduct. Be sure to turn off the water tap, disconnect the hose. Filter the clamp with pliers, but do not rush out sharply! To safely remove it, do twisting movements and simultaneously pull the part you are interested in.

Did you manage to draw without losses? Now you need to carefully clean the mesh from the sand, small debris under the faucet. If there is an air compressor, remove air pollution. Carefully scrape disobedient particles with a knife.

Clean the drain filter

• Look for the reason behind the inconspicuous door-hatch. Most often it is located on the front panel at the bottom right. Open it with a flat object or poke it with your fingers. Disconnect the drain hose and drain the water.
• Remove the filter by turning it anti-clockwise. Sometimes it is first necessary to unscrew the locking screw - it all depends on the model of the washing machine. During all the manipulations described above, tilt the device and place the bowl under the hatch to drain the water. Do not forget to clean the nest from the garbage where the dirt trap is located.
• Clean the filter better under the faucet with a brush or a hard rag. Clean the part and put it back in place. Do not be lazy at the same time to clean and drain hose or at least check its condition. Check that the washing machine is in draining mode.

Simpler models of a washing machine may not have a garbage collector. Then you have to remove one wall and get to the pump, clean it thoroughly, check the branch pipes, the drain hose.

How often to clean

If the filter is cleaned less than once a quarter, it can clog so much that you have to pull it out from the pump and nozzles. Sometimes the scum collected on the thread blocks the filter in the socket tightly. Then you will need to remove the entire "snail break the clogged part and replace it with a new one.
