How to fix the water flow in the dishwasher

Water level sensor
Each program consumes a different amount of water. When the desired level is reached, the sensor triggers and sends a signal to the main module, which stops the fence. Thus, the pressure switch controls the water level in the hopper.
If the pressure switch goes out of order or gives incorrect readings, the board does not receive the necessary information. For example, the level switch sends a signal that the chamber has a low water level. Consequently, the system will endlessly get it.
Overflow can be dangerous by damaging the electronic elements of the dishwasher. Once you notice the problem, immediately disconnect the technician from the network.
You can check the overflow sensor yourself. In the models Bosch, Electrolux it is located from below, near the circulation pump. In other brands - Zanussi, "Indesit Veko - it may be in another place, it can be found in the manual.
Here is an example of testing the sensor on Bosch models:
- Disconnect the machine from the mains and the communications.
- Pull all the baskets out of the camera.
- Turn the equipment on the back.
- Remove the bottom pallet by unscrewing the fastening screws.
- Near the pump assembly you will see a plastic box. Hoses are leading to it.
- The electronic part of the presonter is checked by a multimeter.
- Find out if the mechanical part works, can be poured into the tube of the device. Are audible clicks? So, the part is in order. If not, replace.
Suction Valve
The valve serves to supply water to the chamber. When the pressure switch sends a signal to the module that the level in the tank has reached the norm, the board applies a pulse to the valve and its membrane closes. The cause of the failure is a malfunction with a mechanical part or with electronics.
There is an element in the bottom of the PMM body. De-energize the machine and attach the multimeter probes to its contacts. If the resistance is not correct, replace the valve. To diagnose the mechanical part, the operating voltage is applied and checked whether the membrane opens or not.
Performing a replacement is easy:
- Disconnect the wiring;
- unscrew the fastening bolt;
- install a new item;
- make sure that the markings exactly match your model.
Invalid installation

Specialists ask not to forget the rules of using the equipment:
- Do not connect the dishwasher through tees and carry.
- Do not overload the baskets with utensils.
- Use only special products for washing, not forgetting about salt and rinse.
- After the end of the cycle, clean the filters. Leave the door open until the chamber dries, wipe the seal.
- Turn off the equipment from the network during a long absence.
