Beautiful saprophyte sarkoscifa scarlet

In early spring, in almost all countries and contingents, entire sarcoscypha families grow up in fallen trees. On a low whitish stem, a deeply concave cap is attached, its shape is more like a bowl. Inside it is bright red, the outer “walls” have a lighter shade. Some mushroom pickers claim that the sarkoscifi's pleasantly smelling, firm flesh is quite edible, but most still bypass these mushrooms, since they are too small and, to the same, rather tough.

For a concave cap and bright coloring, the mushroom is also called the scarlet elf cup. It is noteworthy that it grows only in ecologically clean areas, avoiding forest belts around large roads and cities, where the air is polluted by all sorts of emissions.

Elegant fashionista - bamboo mushroom

If some mushrooms have rings on the leg, then bamboo has a whole lace skirt, and it is very long, almost to the ground. The color is usually white, but there are instances in yellow or pink skirts. It is noteworthy that initially the mushroom has the shape of an egg, from which a tall, up to 25 cm, white foot with a small convex hat, painted in brown, subsequently emerges.

The surface of the cap is mesh, covered with unpleasantly smelling, greenish, mucus that attracts insects. In Chinese cuisine, bamboo mushroom is considered a delicacy for the delicate and crisp structure of the pulp.

The Latin name of the mushroom sounds like the Hinduiatus fallus, but it is most often found as:

  • bamboo mushroom;
  • lady with a veil;
  • dictiofor net;
  • bamboo girl;
  • Lednik odorous in bamboo;
  • Bamboo Ginseng.

Mushroom early maturity and aphrodisiac - Vesel

Another type of phallus is known as Veselka. It also develops: first, the mushroom body has the shape of an egg, from which the mushroom itself sprouts on a high stem with a small convex olive-brown cap. However, the growth rate of the bow is amazing: it takes only half an hour for the leg to completely come out of the egg.

Hat is covered with a mucous bloom and smells disgusting, attracting insects. They also spread spores throughout the forest, while clearing the mucus. Without it, well visible cells appear on the cap.

Veselka is an edible unusual mushroom, besides having aphrodisiac properties, but only if you use young specimens( eggs) and remove the shell from them.

Purple miracle amethyst varnish

At the end of the summer in the forests, on wet glades, the amethyst varnish( a lilac) grows - small mushrooms on a thin stalk with an open hat. The mushroom body is completely painted in lilac-purple color, even the plates under the cap, which gently descend on the leg, are the only thing that they fade in old specimens. Edible tender flesh is also purple, with a pleasant taste and smell.

The poisonous mushroom mushroom is very similar to old varnishes. You can distinguish it by the characteristic unpleasant smell of radish and plates of a pure white color( in amethyst varnish they are slightly purple).

Giant champignon or lagermania giant

One of the largest mushrooms in the world is a giant representative of the family of champignon lagermania. This unique mushroom can often be found in the steppes and meadows of central Russia. He has no legs, and the mushroom body itself looks like a huge round egg, lost by an extinct dinosaur, or someone's head, for which the fungus is popularly referred to in the people as “head”.And for the fact that there are headaches in the rainy season, they are called raincoats.

Head sizes inspire respect: there are specimens with a diameter greater than 0.5 m, and this is taking into account the fact that they are edible. That's really the catch so the catch! It is easy to determine the maturity of the fungus: young golovki should be white, with the same color of flesh, in old ones the shell darkens, and the flesh becomes first green-yellow, and at the end brownish.

It is impossible to eat old headache - their pulp contains a large amount of toxins, which leads to poisoning, and the symptoms do not appear immediately, but only on the second day.

Red Gernilia coral mushroom

Among the unusual edible mushrooms there is one species that will never be confused with others. People like him simply do not exist in nature - this is coral geric. The mushroom body is simply a huge, branchy shrub with many even or curved spines. Most often the bush is white, but may be cream. Not everyone can meet the coral gericia, because it is a very rare mushroom. In Russia, it grows mainly in the Far East, in the Krasnodar Territory, Siberia. It grows on trees and stumps, only on deciduous species. The young, fragrant and resilient flesh is white, less often pinkish or yellowish, it smells good and very tasty, but the old mushrooms become tough.

Coral fungus, as it is also called gericium, has other names based on its forms. So, among the mushroom pickers, it is known as latvian urchin or branched geric.

Giant sparass mushroom curly

A huge curly sparass grows on the roots of coniferous trees. By its nature, it is a parasite, because it destroys a tree, provoking the disease of red rot, which leads to the death of the host. The weight of one adult fungus can reach 10 kg, and the width - more than 0.5 m.

It grows as a dense shrub, which is basically formed by small mushrooms with wavy curved caps, their diameter is notexceeds 5 cm. The mushroom bush has a rounded shape and is very curly, for which it received its name. And it is often called cabbage( mushroom, boron, or hare).The mushroom is edible: the young, fragile flesh is very tasty and smells like nuts, but it becomes stiff in old spraces.

Mushroom cabbage is protected by the Red Book, as it is on the verge of extinction.

Flakefruit Shishkogribrib

Among the fungi with interesting forms, it is worth noting the flaxendeed shishkogrib - a very funny mushroom with a hat that looks like a pine cone. It is convex and all covered with scales, which hangs from the edges of the cap, and there is also on the leg. No less interesting and color: young shishkogriby gray-brown, but growing up, they become chocolate black. The flesh of such a miracle mushroom, oddly enough, is light, but when cut, it first turns red, and then also becomes dark, almost black with a violet hue. Publishes a characteristic mushroom smell.

Shishkogrib attributed to conditionally edible mushrooms: they can not be poisoned, but not everyone likes the fibrous pulp.

Tremella orange

Oddly enough, but the jelly-like shapeless mass in the trees is an edible orange tremor mushroom. It looks, of course, not very: sticky trembling mushroom body up to 10 cm in size, slightly transparent, painted in yellow-orange color.

In a dry summer, almost all the liquid from the tremblek evaporates, and the fungus turns into a kind of peel, but after heavy rains it swells up again and acquires the same gelatinous structure. But the bright orange color in rainy summer disappears, giving way to a white, almost transparent, color.

Cradle can also often be found on certain polypores - this is how its natural parasitic properties are manifested. Young gelatinous mushrooms are considered a delicacy, especially in China, where they are cooked soup. Old mushrooms for culinary masterpieces are not suitable - they are very tough.

mock-wooch spruce - mushroom in a glass cap

In the coniferous forests, under the spruce trees, a seemingly ordinary mushroom spruce grows. But if you find young mushrooms, do not be afraid of the mucous coverlet, which completely covers the cap and passes to the leg. From afar, it seems that the mushroom has put on a glass cap or spacesuit. As it grows, the transparent veil ruptures, and its remnants are visible only on the stem. In this form, mokruha fir also looks very beautiful: the hat is painted in purple-brown color. The pulp of the fungus is light, smells good and very tasty.

Rare mushroom sarcosomas spherical

Brown kegs filled with dark liquid and covered with a shiny disc on top - it is difficult to imagine a more unusual mushroom. This is a unique globular sarcosome, listed in the Red Book. You can find it only among the thickets of moss, in the impassable forest more often. Sarkosome is considered conditionally edible( some gourmets fry the fruit body and insist that it is very tasty in this form), but the main value of the fungus lies in the liquid. It has healing properties and is widely used in traditional medicine.

Summing up, we can say one thing: not everything that looks weird is actually such. Unusual mushrooms are edible and even very tasty, but if you are not sure of their edibility and do not know how to cook them, you should not be at risk. Collect only well-known mushrooms and boil them well to avoid unpleasant consequences.
