Hard water
After washing the dishes are white, white stains remain on the walls of the PMM bunker. This means that the soil of your region contains many calcareous rocks. Water that flows from a well into the water supply system contains many heavy impurities: calcium and magnesium salts. The sediment is visible on the details of the equipment, the surface of the devices. Over time, the components of the dishwasher are covered with scale, which leads to breakage.
Some PMM models come with test strips. They can be used to find out how hard the water is in your pipes. If you look closely at the tap, kettle, you can see how quickly a white precipitate is formed.
What to do to fix the problem? Determine the hardness of the water, pour special salt into the tank, adjust the value on the dishwasher panel( if any).Such an indication will inform you about the end of salt and the need to fill it:
In order to improve the quality of washing and soften the water, the manufacturers have provided a special ion exchanger in the machine. Salt, which is poured into the tank, attracts heavy impurities. Therefore, passing through the ion exchanger, the water becomes “soft”.

Unsuitable detergent
After the dishwasher, white stains remain on the appliances, especially stains on the glass are visible. Check the correct dosage of detergent powder. If you choose a poor-quality product that is poorly soluble, or you put too much of it in, then it is badly rinsed out.
According to manufacturers, a 3-in-1 tablet replaces detergent, rinse aid and salt. This is not entirely true. The contents of these components in the tablet is not enough to perform high-quality washing.
If you use the combined means, we recommend additionally using salt.
Check the dispenser cover after refilling the rinse aid. If it is loosely closed, the product is washed at the stage of washing, not rinsing.
How to remove stains and avoid their further occurrence:
- Change the dosage of detergent until you find the best option for your PMM model. Focus on the mode: if the cycle is short, the whole tablet may not dissolve.
- Choose a quality tool. Do not use gels for hand washing.
- Follow the instructions, pour the powder correctly.
If stains on the plates appear after you have covered the salt, the reason may be that:
- salt crumbled in the pan when the compartment was inaccurately filled;
- : the tightness of the cover is broken, or it is damaged;
- entangled compartments: salt got into the powder compartment.
As soon as the right amount of product has been filled, remove any residue in the pan. Screw the cap tight. If there are cracks, operation is not possible until you replace it.
Violation of operating rules
The technique leaves stains on the surface of the dishes, and the chamber, sprays, filter in a lime scale, traces of fat and food remains in the pan. Why it happens? Because the dishwasher use rules have been violated:
- plates are not cleaned from food residue before loading;
- drain filter is not cleaned after the end of the cycle;
- machine is not cleaned by special means.

Technical problems
You use high-quality detergent, follow the instructions, but limescale appears again and again. How to get rid of it?
- Dispenser cover poorly fitted, compartment not tightly closed This happens in Chinese-made models. You can adjust the lid yourself, submerging the edges to the desired size.
- Stiffness sensor defective. When it breaks, the control module does not receive information, so the water softens badly. If your PMM model has a sensor, it is better to entrust the diagnosis and repair to the master.
