How to remove the bearing from the drum

If you are interested in how to get the bearing from the washing machine, then you suspect that it has become unusable. The reason for this could be a spoiled gland, which, having lost its tightness, began to pass water. Lubricant was washed out, which led to corrosion and abrasion of the bearing.

How to properly prepare for work

  • a set of slotted and cross-head screwdrivers, possibly hex;
  • set of wrenches and socket wrenches;
  • pliers;
  • puller;
  • hammer and chisel;
  • bolt;
  • sealant;
  • hacksaw.

Before purchasing a puller, make sure that the bearing needs a replacement. Then get a universal puller suitable for dismantling items of any size.

Buy a new part. This may be a wheel bearing or any other that fits your model. Accurately find out the numbers and markings can be after you remove the bearing from the washing machine.

  • Open the door. Bend the edge of the sealing rubber - there is a clamp behind it. Pry it off with a screwdriver and pull it off.

  • Remove the two bolts securing the UBL( lock) hatch. Running his hand behind the case, disconnect the wiring lock. Tighten the cuff inside the tank.
  • Remove the screws on the perimeter of the front panel, remove it.

Now you need to remove everything that prevents remove the tank. If the TEN is on the front of your model, disconnect its wiring. Mark the location of the wires with a marker or take a picture.

  • Unclip the wiring from the electric motor and heating element if it is located at the back.
  • Remove the bolts holding the engine, pull it out of the case.

It remains to unscrew the shock absorber bolts, which may be located at the very bottom of the case.

Upper parts

Remove the upper counterweight by unscrewing the bolts.

Now you need to remove the cuvette of the powder collector. Lift it up and detach the nozzle by loosening the clamp with pliers. Remove the bolts securing the filler valve to the CMA body. Disconnect the wires from it. Remove the cuvette with the valve.

Disconnect the pressure switch hose that is attached to the tank. If nothing else interferes, lift the tank off the hooks and pull it out through the front or top of the CM housing.

Inspection and Disassembly of the

Before you pull the bearing out of the hub, you need to get the drum.

If you have a collapsible tank, simply unscrew the screws on the perimeter and remove the upper part.

If the tank is welded, you have to cut it. To do this:

  1. Mark places for future screws around the perimeter. Make holes for them, so you can additionally fasten the tank halves.
  2. Set the tank on its side, start cutting with the part that is convenient for you.

. After striking the sleeve several times with a hammer, push the drum out of a part of the tank.
