How to cook lobio from green string beans


Lobio of green beans is a versatile vegetable dish. It is usually served hot on the side of meat or poultry. But if you cool lobio, you get a wonderful salad that goes well with wine and stronger drinks. And today we will offer you two simple recipes that you can easily implement in your kitchen.

Ingredients:

  • beans - 1000 grams;
  • tomatoes - two or three;
  • walnuts - 120 grams( weight without shell);
  • green hot pepper - half a pod;
  • salad( red) onions - one piece;
  • garlic - three cloves;
  • vegetable oil;
  • salt, ground black pepper and allspice - to taste;
  • fresh cilantro, parsley, basil, mint - 50 grams each.

If you do not have fresh tomatoes and hot peppers on hand, then use adjika instead( two or three tablespoons are enough).

The taste and attractive appearance of this dish depends largely on the proper preparation of the ingredients. In addition, all products must be fresh and of good quality. Lobio of Georgian bean pods is prepared quite simply.

Carefully clean walnuts from partitions and shells. Transfer them to the blender bowl and chop the product at high speed.

Rinse the vegetables and herbs under running water. Free the onions from the husk and peppers from the seeds and remove the stem. Cut the prepared ingredients into small cubes, finely chop the greens and peeled garlic cloves.

Beans should also be washed well. Place the processed pods on a cutting board, remove the tips, and cut the blanks into two or three pieces. After that, send the beans to a saucepan full of water and add a little salt. Boil the pods for about a quarter of an hour.

Boil water in a separate bowl and dip the tomatoes into it. After a few seconds, get them with a skimmer, put it on a plate. Cut the tomatoes in half, peel them off and remove the seeds with a teaspoon. Cut the flesh into small cubes.

How to cook lobio with green beans? To start, heat the pan on medium heat, and then pour a few spoons of vegetable oil into it. Fry the onions, and after a couple of minutes add the tomatoes.

Simmer vegetables together for some time. Add garlic, prepared greens and hot peppers to the pan. Stir the products with a spatula and cook them for another five or seven minutes. Lastly, put the boiled beans.

When the lobio with green beans is ready, remove the dishes from the stove. Add the chopped walnuts to the vegetables and stir still. Cover the pan with a lid, let it sit. After that, arrange lobio on plates and serve it to the table.

This dish can be quickly prepared for breakfast for the whole family.

Ingredients:


  • 500 grams of green beans;
  • bulb;
  • garlic clove;
  • two tomatoes;
  • two chicken eggs;
  • a small bunch of cilantro;
  • salt and spices;
  • vegetable oil.

Both fresh and frozen vegetables can be used to make lobio. To make the taste of the dish richer, experiment with seasonings. For example, take marjoram, hot pepper, hop-suneli or thyme.

Recipe for lobio with green string beans will not cause you any difficulty. Beans need to be washed, cut off the pods "tails", and then each cut in half. Dip the blanks in boiling salted water and cook them until ready. After this, drain the water, throwing the beans into a colander.

Ripe green beans cooked longer - the process will take at least a quarter of an hour. But the young pods will be enough for ten minutes.

Pour boiling water over the tomatoes and immediately immerse them in ice water. Use your hands or a knife to remove the peel of tomatoes, chop the pulp arbitrarily. If desired, you can remove the soft core( use leftovers for other dishes or salad).

First clean the onion and then cut into small cubes. Garlic also free from the shell and chop with a knife. Quickly fry the prepared vegetables in vegetable oil.
