• transfer holes to it.

Then, attaching the template to the wall, you need transfer bastings using level and tape measure.

Important. If a gas pipe passes at the attachment point of the hood, wall mounting is not possible.

Duct installation

Types of ducts

Exists three types of ducts.

• Corrugated Aluminum Sleeve. It is easy to bend to give the desired shape, but the air flow through it passes quite noisily, and it is also difficult to wash the soot and dust from its ribs.
• Round PVC duct. It is assembled as a designer from bends, elbows, roundings of the required size. Such pipes are quiet and easy to care for.
• Rectangular PVC duct. This is an alternative to a round pipe. It is preferable to use when the ventilation shaft is far from the stove, as it is easier to hide and save space. It is assembled similarly to a round one, adapters from round to rectangular section are provided.

Important select a pipe whose diameter will coincide with the diameter of the exhaust outlet.

When using PVC pipes, it is better to glue them together at the joints or fasten with screws.

Put on the end of the pipe that will be connected to the duct anti-return valve to avoid the absorption of unpleasant odors from the ventilation shaft into the apartment.

You can fix the duct to the wall with clamps, ties, latches. They must be installed at a distance of 60 cm to ensure fixation.

Important. The fewer bends the pipe has, the higher the power of the system.

Power connection

Before installing the hood, you must arrange for her a separate grounded outlet.

If such an outlet is nearby, then you can use it. But to avoid pulling wires through the entire kitchen, as well as heating them, better to do it directly behind the cabinet.

Important. If the selected hood model does not come with a plug, but with wires for connection, then a reliable and safe connection must be ensured. To do this, you will need terminal blocks - factory wiring products that connect the wires.

They need to be taken as many as the wires are provided for by the design (3 pcs: phase, zero, ground) and connect the ends of the same color.
