The range of models that are integrated into kitchen sets is much wider than stand-alone counterparts. This is explained by the principles of ergonomics and space saving, embedded in the concept of building a kitchen interior.
To install the built-in dishwasher you will need a separate cabinet, or rather, a niche in the headset. It differs from an ordinary kitchen pedestal in that it has no back wall and bottom.
The technique is built inside the furniture modules and decorated with facade panels so that in the closed state it is completely hidden. This installation method allows you to maintain the kitchen interior in the same style.
The machine is installed directly on the floor, on 3 or 4 support legs. The absence of the rear wall allows you to freely position the hoses - supply water and drain.

A variant of the scheme by which you can determine the size of the decorative overlay. General drawings allow you to compare the dimensions of the machine and the cabinet to install the unit as smoothly as possible.
The width of the panel often coincides with the width of the dishwasher, since the door at the sides repeats the parameters of the cabinet. For example, for standard 60-cm models, it is usually equal to 598 mm, for 45-cm models - 448 mm (there are exceptions).
However, the height may be different. It depends on how the facade of the neighboring kitchen cabinets is located.

It is allowed to use the panel a few mm in excess of the recommended length, if required by the interior. The main thing is that the extra millimeters do not interfere with opening the door at a right angle.

Stage # 2 - choose the correct method of fixation
It is forbidden to ignore the recommendations of the manufacturer and experiment with the methods of fastening the lining. If you fix the facade in its own way, it may eventually fall off or "move out" to the side.
Traditionally for fastening decorative panels used screws. They are good because you can unscrew them quickly if necessary, and remove and replace the trim
If nails are used instead of screws, then problems with dismantling will certainly arise. Expensive appliances serve more than a decade and can "survive" kitchen set.
To change the trim panel from the new furniture, it is necessary to tear out the nails with the risk of deforming the surface of the door.
Wrong to fix the facade on glue. Two extremes can occur: either the glue will quickly lose its properties from temperature fluctuations, or “tightly” fix the pad on the machine. Both options are impractical.
It is also frivolous to leave pieces of tape as fasteners - the panel will disappear under the weight of its own weight at the very first oscillations of the unit.
Stage # 3 - perform the installation sequentially
Before starting to hang the facade, you need to check how even the dishwasher is installed relative to the adjacent cabinets and the table top. Inclined position can cause the panel to be fixed crooked.
The second point concerns the size - once again you should check whether the length and width of the lining fit exactly. If all is well, you can proceed.

- mount the handle, focusing on the location of the handles on the adjacent cabinets, try to observe not only the position (parallel / perpendicular to the floor), but also the height;
- To prevent the PMM door from closing during installation, place a couple of large books or another heavy object, such as an iron, on it.
If the former cabinet door is used as a façade for a dishwasher, when fitting, pay attention to the location of the old holes.
It is necessary to make sure that they do not come into contact with the new mounting holes, otherwise the screws could pop out and the panel partially move.
